SAME DC Young Member Site Tour and Network Social

National Museum of African American History and CulturePROJECT TOUR IS “SOLD OUT”! The Networking social to follow the tour is still open to all – join us at 5:30PM at Hill Country Barbecue Market: 410 Seventh Street NW  Washington, DC 20004

Please join the SAME Washington DC Post Young Members for a project site tour of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture Tuesday, June 9.

Since this is an active construction site, personal protection equipment (PPE) is required. All attendees must wear closed, hard toe shoes – please no sneakers, slipper-type, or other kinds of thin-soled or soft-toe shoes. Please bring a Hard Hat, Eye Goggles, Safety Vest and Gloves if you have your own. If not, we will provide.

We will need all attendees to sign a waiver form prior to the tour so we will have these forms at the Visitor’s center.

Please note the project tour is now full - the tour segment was limited to the first 20 to RSVP but everyone is welcome to join us at the networking social.

And remember - All SAME members are welcome at Young Member events!

YM Volunteer and Happy Hour-DC Central Kitchen Volunteers Needed

The SAME DC Post is looking for volunteers to help with evening meal prep at DC Central Kitchen. After we give back to our community; we will gather for a networking happy hour at Kelly’s Irish Times (14 F Street / Northwest / Capitol Hill / Washington DC / 20001.)
