Housing / Utilities (Privatization and Outsourcing)
The presentation focused on current utilities and housing privatization initiatives taken by the Air Force, Army and Navy. Speakers included representatives from all of the services headquarters.

Engineer Theater Operations
Maj Gen Larry L Sinn, USA, discussed engineer theater operations. As the former Commander, North American Division, US Army Corps of Engineers, General Sinn was extensively involved in all aspects of construction and engineering associated with NATO insertion into Kosovo. He was instrumental in partnering with contracting firms to execute base camp construction support for US forces and refuges from Kosovo. As the military continues to deploy to remote areas throughout the world such as Kosovo, the need for Army combat engineers will continue to expand in to the next millennium.

Innovative Technologies
This program included two different approaches where our industry had implemented innovative means to solve client challenges. The first presentation focused on Environmental Remediation, and was presented by Don Green Project Officer Installation Restoration Program US Army Garrison, Aberdeen Proving Ground, and Carol Mowder, PE, Senior Engineer. The second presentation focused on Automating Assessments and was presented by Les Bergen PE Civil Engineer, Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management, Department of the Army HQ, Jim Hays, PE Vice President, Assessments Practice Leader, 3D/Internatioanl.
